/A <br />City Council meeting of October 16, 1989 <br />Page 6 <br />Atkinson made motion, Jesinski seconded, that the City of Hugo authorizes <br />Wilson Tool to partially improve Farnham Avenue from 1•?Oth Street to a <br />point approximately 300' to the south. This approval is subject to review <br />and the recommendations of city engineer and city attorney. Wilson Tool <br />agrees to either petition for the blacktopping of this road within a three <br />year period or signing an agreement with the City that they will not <br />object to any assessments for the bitimunous surfacing of this roadway by <br />the City. Wilson Tool will build the roadway, and the City will plow and <br />maintain said roadway. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Atkinson made motion, McAllister, that the City of Hugo accept the <br />resignations of Anthony Istvanovich and Anthony Koercher from the Hugo <br />Fire Department, and Martin Schwartz be dropped from the Hugo Fire <br />Department without prejudice. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Councilman Olson referred to a letter he had received about a recently <br />approved SUP for a boathouse on Sunset Lake. The matter is to be referred <br />to the City's Code Enforcement Officer for his review. <br />City Administrator, Ken Huber, reported on the following: <br />1. Road improvements on 145th Street and Highway 61 by Washington County <br />Public Works. <br />. Overlay of Highway 61 by MNDOT in 1992. <br />3. Loss of $103,000 in Local Government Aid as a result of the recently <br />approved property tax reform legislation. <br />Olson made motion, Vail seconded, to adjourn at 8:35 PM. <br />All aye.
