MEETING_ OF DECEMBER 4. 1002. <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Atkinson at 7:15 PM. <br />PRESENT: McAllister, Jesinski, Olson, Vail, Atkinson <br />City Administrator, Ken Huber <br />City Engineer, Howard Kuusisto <br />City Clerk:, Mary Ann Creager <br />Vail made motion, Olson seconded, to approve the minutes for the regular <br />City Council meeting of November 20, 1989 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Jesinski made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the claims for December 4, <br />1989 in the amount of $68,669.82. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWALS <br />McAllister made motion, Jesinski seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1989-26, <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LIQUOR AND RELATED LICENSES FOR THE YEAR 1996. <br />VOTING AYE: McAllister, Jesinksi, Olson, Vail, Atkinson <br />VOTING NAY: NONE <br />Motion Carried. <br />PROPOSED 1990 BUDGET <br />The City Council reviewed a proposed resolution adopting the general fund <br />operating budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1990. Said <br />resolution reflects, in summary form, the revenue sources and expense <br />allocations contained in the official budget document as reviewed by the <br />City Council on several occasions over the last two months. The total <br />general fund expenditures of $912,290 proposed for 1990 are 4.7% higher <br />than the 1989 budget. Budget increases are primarily the result of <br />employment of a part-time finance director, increased road maintenance, <br />and compliance with State and Federal mandates. <br />Mayor Atkinson called the public hearing to order to consider the general <br />fund budget. Although there were approximately 45 people present, there <br />were no oral or written comments. <br />McAllister made motion, Olson seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1989-27, <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR THE 1990 FISCAL YEAR. <br />VOTING AYE: McAllister, Jesinski, Olson, Vail, Atkinson <br />VOTING NAY: NONE <br />Motion Carried. <br />RESOI._UT I ON CERTIFYING 1989-90 TAX LEVY <br />The City Council reviewed a proposed resolution adopting the tax levy <br />collectible in 1990.
