F1 <br />%ity CJu11C11 1/4/033 <br />6.3 HOMESTEAD DRIVE ASSESSMENT HEARING <br />To proceed with the assessment hearing for the Homestead Drive, 125th <br />Street, and 130th Street public improvement project, as petitioned by <br />property owners on July 21, 1987, it is necessary for the City Council to <br />approve a resolution ordering said hearing for February 1, 1988 at 7:00 <br />PM, Hugo City Hall Council chambers. <br />Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1988-3 RESOLUTION <br />SETTING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR HOMESTEAD DRIVE PUBLIC <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1987-30-0. <br />VOTING AYE: Peltier, Potts, Olson, Vail, Atkinson <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />8.4 ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICE CONTRACT <br />As per Council direction, we have completed negotiations with Animal <br />Control and Management, Inc., for the providing of animal control services <br />in the City of Hugo during the 1988 calendar year. Amendments were made <br />from the initial draft contract based on Council input and the <br />recommendations of the city attorney. The animal control services, as <br />outlined in the enclosed contract, will be provided for the sum of $248.00 <br />per month. Any revisions in this contract will be proposed by ACM, prior <br />to July 1st, if the contract is to be extended into the 1989 calendar <br />year. <br />Olson made motion, Potts seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1988--4 RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING ANIMAL.CONTROL SERVICES. <br />VOTING AYE: Peltier, Potts, Olson, Vail, Atkinson <br />Motion Carried. <br />9.1 SET DATE FOR NEXT COUNCIL MEETING <br />The next regular scheduled meeting of the City Council falls on a state <br />and federal holiday which requires that City Hall be closed and no public <br />meetings be held on that date. We are recommending that the city set <br />Tuesday, January 19, for the second Council meeting in January, 1988. <br />Atkinson made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City Council set Tuesday, <br />January 19, for the second Council meeting in January, 1988, at 7:00 PM. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />10.1 PFURTSCHELLER/SIMONET REQUEST <br />The city received a letter from William Simonet, representing Jeanette <br />Pfurtscheller, requesting the matter be placed back on the City Council's <br />agenda for rehearing. <br />Atkinson made motion, Potts seconded, that the City Council direct staff <br />to place the application of Jeanette Pfurtscheller for a SUP to board <br />horses on the agenda for the City Council meeting of January 19, 1988. <br />VOTING AYE: Peltier, Olson, Vail, Atkinson <br />VOTING NAY: Potts <br />Motion Carried. <br />
