,_S MINUTES FOR THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF MA:Y 166 1988 The regular meeting was called to order by Mayor Atkinson at 7:00 PM. PRESENT: Peltier, Potts, Olson, Vail, Atkinson City Administrator, Ken Huber City Attorney, Charles Johnson City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes of May 2, 1988 as amended. All aye. Motion Carried. Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to .approve the General Claims for May 16, 1988, in the amount of $58,8C)6.40.' All aye. Motion Carried. Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for May 16, 1988 in the amount of $163.40. All aye. Motion Carried. HUGO LIONS CLUES - 3.2 NON -INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE AtL::inson made motion, Peltier seconded, to grant approval of an on --sale _.2 beer license to sell alcoholic beverages during Good Neighbor Days on June 10, 11, and 12, 1988, for the Hugo Lions Club, All aye. Motion Carried. AMERICAN LEGION POST AUXILIARY 620 - CHARITABLE GAMBLING Atkinson made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City of Hugo has no objection to the American Legion Post 620 Auxiliary to operate bingo games at 5736 147th Street North, and waives the 30 days waiting period. All aye. Motion Carried. FINAL SURVEY APPROVAL= ( DON SEMPEL.. _ SUB.. D . ) On behalf of Safeway Movers, Inc., Mr. Don Sempel has made application to the city of Hugo for a minor subdivision and waiver of the formal platting requirements to subdivide an 18.5 acre tract of land in the city of Hugo. The preliminary survey was reviewed by the Planning Commission, and subsequently approved by the City Council on April 18, 1988. The parcel in question is generally described as an 18.5 tract identified as part of the SE 1/4 of Section 8, T31N, R21W, Washington County, Minnesota. Peltier made motion, Potts seconded, to approve the final certificate of survey #5-16-88 for Mr. Don Sempel (Safeway House Movers), waiver of the formal platting procedure, for the following described property: Part of the SE 1/4 of Section 8, T31N, R 1W, Washington County, Minnesota. Approval is subject to the following special conditions:
