Rather <br />than prepare detailed specifications, it our intent to write some general <br />specifications as noted above, and secure quotations from local car <br />dealers for the purchase of a vehicle on the lot. <br />Atkinson made motion, Vail seconded, authorizing the purchase of a <br />small/medium sized pickup truck. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />The city received a letter from Mrs. Joyce Seever stating that because of <br />speeding cars, she has had to replace fencing needed for securing horses <br />boarded on her property lying along Oneka Lake Blvd. This matter is to bs <br />referred to the city engineer for his review as to roadway design. <br />Councilman Potts again mentioned the illegal parking of an over -sized <br />truck at the Rick Flanagan property located at 6319 175th Street in <br />violation of his special use permit and a recent court's ruling <br />' <br />Mr. Barry Stack, land surveyor for Mr. Schuneman, was present to clarify <br />any questions the Council may have had regarding the 8chuneman <br />subdivision. City engineer, Howard Kuusisto, had responsed to a Council <br />directive regarding the road right-of-way width in question. The Council <br />agreed to accept the variable right-of-way width as proposed on the <br />certificate of survey. <br />The city administrator reported on the new telephone system purchased by <br />the city. <br />Peltier made motion, Potts seconded, to adjourn at 9:10 PM. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
