/07 <br />MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF 9/6/88 <br />The regular meeting was called to order by Mayor Atkinson at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Olson, Peltier, Potts, Vail, Atkinson <br />City Administrator, t:,en Huber <br />City Clerk. Mary Ann Creager <br />Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of August 15, 1988 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the minutes of the special <br />meeting of August 22, 1988 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br />September 6, 1988 in the amount of $54,757.19. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for <br />September 6, 1988 in the amount of $6,689.95. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPOINTMENT TO BROWN'S CREEk:: WATER MANAGEMENT BOARD <br />We have been notified by Brown's Creek Watershed District that the term of <br />Dave Truax: has expired. Dave has served as Hugo's representative to the <br />board since it's inception. Our representative to the board will serve a <br />three year term. Mr. Truax has indicated that he is willing to continue <br />to serve on the board if the city council chooses to reappoint him. <br />Atkinson made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City of `HLtgo reappoint <br />Dave Truax•: to serve as its representative on the Brown's Creek WMO for a <br />term to expire 7/1/91. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MINOR SUBDIVISION REQUEST (JAMES CRAIN) <br />Mr. Herman Strehlow and Celia Crain have made application to the City of <br />Hugo for the subdivision of a 67 acre tract of land into two parcels, one <br />consisting of 41 acres and one of approximately 26 acres. The 41 acre <br />parcel is located at the northwest corner of Everton Avenue and County <br />State Aid Highway No. 8, while the 26 acre tract is located south of <br />County State Aid Highway No. 8 at it's intersection with 146th St. No. It <br />is the intent of the applicant to construct a residence on parcel B as <br />indicated on the certificate of survey. The property in question is <br />currently zoned conservancy requiring minimum 20 acre sites. The site is <br />generally described as a part of the east half of the northwest 1/4 of <br />Section 19, T31N, R21W, Washington County. The site development has been <br />approved by Rice Creek Watershed District, and permits have been forwarded <br />
