� MINUTES FOR THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF NOVEMBER 21, .198e The Council meeting was called to order by Mayor Atkinson at 7:00 PM. PRESENT: Olson, Peltier, Potts, Atkinson City Administrator, Ken Huber City Attorney, Charles Johnson City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager ABSENT: Deane Vail Peltier made motion, Potts seconded, to approve the minutes of November 7, 1988 as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. Peltier made motion, Olson seconded, to approve the minutes of the BOARD OF CANVASS on November 10, 1988 as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General Claims for November 21, 1988 in the amount of $55,126.12. All aye. Motion Carried. Olson made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for November 21, 1988 in the amount of $388.89. All aye. Motion Carried. CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE Atkinson made motion, Potts seconded, that the City of Hugo has no objection to the renewal of the Gambling License to MS to operate at Ricci's Saloon, and waives the 60 waiting period. All aye. Motion Carried. WASHINGTON COUNTY ASSESSOR PRESENTATION Mr. Scott Menne presented the Council with a report summarizing the new property tax laws for the taxes payable in 1989, and more specifically, homestead credit and state aids. SITE PLAN APPROVAL (INTER -STATE LUMBER) Mr. Don Kratt and Gary Peppard have made application to the City of Hugo for a site plan approval to construct a 20' x 100' loading dock on Burlington Northern Railway property' The site in question is generally described as part of Lot 26 of County Auditor's Plat No. 7, Section 20, T31N, R21W, and is located at the southwest corner of 145th Street and Highway 61. There is currently an existing warehouse on site, and it is the applicants' intent to extend a loading dock to the railroad spur located west of the warehouse. The property in question is zoned CB.
