The meeting was called to order by Mayor Atkinson at 7:35 PM. <br />PRESENT: Olson, Peltier, Vail, Atkinson <br />City Administrator, Ken Huber <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ABSENT: Potts <br />Peltien made motion, Olson seconded, to approve the City Council minutes <br />of 11/21/88 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Olson made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes of the Board of <br />Canvass on 12/i/se as submitted. <br />All aye. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Vail made <br />motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General <br />Claims for <br />December <br />5, 1988 in the amount of $26,543.50. <br />All aye. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Olson made <br />motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Utility <br />Claims for <br />December <br />5, 1988 in the amount of $4,163.20. <br />All aye. <br />Motion Carried. <br />5.1_ LIQUO;__ . MISCELLANEOUS LICENSES <br />Atkinson <br />made motion, Peltier seconded, to remove the name <br />of Robert M. <br />Ricci dba <br />RICCI'S SALOON & EATERY from the resolution for consideration <br />of <br />the City <br />Council for liquor license approval. <br />All aye. <br />Motion Carried. ' <br />Atkinson <br />made motion, Peltier seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION <br />88-54, <br />RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING LIQUOR AND RELATED LICENSES. <br />VOTING AYE: Olson, Peltier, Vail, Atkinson <br />Motion Carried. <br />Mayor Atkinson suggested that the City Council hold a public hearing at <br />its next regular meeting (12/19/88) to consider possible suspension of Mr. <br />Ricci's liquor license for numerous liquor related violations at his <br />establishment. Councilman Vail suggested that a Washington County deputy <br />also be present to represent the sheriff's office in this matter. <br />Atkinson made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City Council hold a <br />public hearing on 12/19/88 at 6:30 PM to enable Mr. Ricci to show why his <br />liq"or license should not be suspended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
