/57 <br />City Council meeting of 12/19/88 <br />Page 3 <br />Peltier made motion, Potts seconded, that the date in Item #10 of Stanford <br />Krueger's SUP 410 be extended from December 31, 1988 to December 31, 1989. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Mayor Atkinson referred to a letter of response from Washington County <br />regarding the upgrading of Elmcrest Avenue. In essence, they stated that <br />the county would share in any costs unless they take over the roadway. <br />Mayor Atkinson asked that city staff communicate with Washington County <br />Public Works requesting that they ask the Washington County Board to <br />reclassify Elmcrest Avenue to a county road. A letter is also to be <br />forward to Lino Lakes requesting that they approach Anoka County with a <br />similar request. <br />The city received a letter from a resident regarding a motorcycle accident <br />on Everton Avenue, and a request that a street sign be placed in proximity <br />of the accident to avoid future occurrences. The matter is to be referred <br />to the sheriff's office for their investigation and subsequent <br />recommendation. <br />City Attorney, Charles Johnson, reviewed the status of the White Bear Rod <br />and Gun Club matter, the Ingersoll assessment appeal, and the "Stanek" <br />matter. <br />Art Potts suggested that some time in the future the city consider <br />publication of a magazine outlining the history of the city, along with <br />current opportunities, to help promote the city. <br />Mayor Atkinson acknowledged the last Council meeting for Art Potts and <br />Teddy Peltier, and thanked them for their many years of dedicated service <br />to the City of Hugo.
