e� <br />January 6, 1986 <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to appoint JIM WISNER as 1st Assistant <br />Chief for 1986. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to appoint Bill Beaman as 2nd Assistant <br />Chief for 1986. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to appoint JAMES HAUER to serve <br />on the Board of Appeals, and that he recommend two additional names at the <br />next City Council meeting. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.1 Eugene Schulz - Renew of Mobile Home Permit <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, to renew the Mobile Home Permit for <br />Eugne Schulz for 90 days. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.2 Bridge Improvement Project <br />Engineer Kuusisto advised the City that two bridges within city limits have been <br />cited for replacement (north end of Bald Eagle Lake and Elmcrest Avenue). The <br />program consists of 100% grant funds for the construction with the City furnishing <br />the engineering and demolition. There is a meeting 1/7/86 at the Washington County <br />Board Room at which time the funding process will be discussed. Kuusisto's office <br />will have a representative in attendance. <br />6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br />6.1 Ordinance Committee <br />There was considerable discussion on the revised subdixision ordinance that had been <br />submitted to the Council for their comments. <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, McAllister seconded, that Charles Johnson draft a pro- <br />posed ordinance change relating to metes and bounds descriptions. <br />It was discussed that George Atkinson and Theodora Peltier work with Mr. Johnson at <br />City Hall on the proposed draft. <br />For the record, McAllister stated that every word in the submitted draft regarding <br />Planning Commission decision is objectionable to hinry and will not have his vote. <br />POTTS WITHDREW HIS MOTION. <br />It was finally decided that Attorney Johnson will review the draft, make notations in <br />red, provide that copy to Peltier and Atkinson, and then get together with them to <br />be more productive and keep costs down. <br />
