April 7, 1986 MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve Job Order D5137 for Northwestern Bell. All aye. Motion Carried. 7.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS - No discussion 8.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 8.1 Oneka Lake Mr. Bernin was present to discuss requirements for financing the control structure to be constructed at the south east corner of Oneka Lake through the Alex Zaluckyj property. The opening of bids will take place Monday, May 19, 1986 at 7:30 PM. Mayor McAllister stated that before the bid is awarded, financing the project should be in place. Councilman Potts will contact the DNR regarding the road leading to the public access on Oneka Lake. 9.0 NEW BUSINESS 9.1 Spray City Park MOTION: Schwab made motion, Potts seconded, that the Hugo Feed Mill be contacted to spray the city park for weed control. All aye. Motion Carried. 10.0 MISCELLANEOUS MOTION: Potts made motion, Schwab seconded, that the Building Inspector be directed do issue a Certificate of Occupancy for any and all buildings being erected in the City of Hugo. VOTING FOR: Hauer, Potts, Schwab, McAllister VO'T'ING AGAINST: Peltier Motion Carried. The city received a letter from attorney, Robert Herr regarding an easement in the City of Hugo. A copy of the letter is to be sent to city attorney, Charles Johnson, for his opinion. The city received a letter from Francis Langer requesting consideration for the city manager should such a position be created. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Hauer seconded, that Langer's letter be put on file and a copy be provided to the committee. All aye. Motion Carried. Mayor McAllister reviewed with the Council the duties of Charles Shalander, Roads Superintendent. He stated that if any of the Council was interested in the posi- tion, they should contact Mr. Shalander.
