April 7, 1986 <br />5.6 Eugene Shultz - Renew Mobile Home Permit <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to renew the permit for Mr. Shultz, <br />8340 140th Street, for 90 days. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.8 Darrell Tavernier - Liquor Licenses (Lakeview Inn) <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the following licenses <br />for Darrell Tavernier, LAKEVIEW INN: Off sale non -intoxicating, on -sale <br />non -intoxicating, and cigarette. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.7 Jim Husnik - American Legion Gambling License <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Potts seconded, that the City of Hugo do nothing with <br />this application. <br />VO'T'ING FOR: Hauer, Potts, Schwab, McAllister <br />VOTING AGAINST: Peltier <br />Motion Carried. <br />5.9 Letter from Willard Harley Regarding Kubitschek/Peterson Property <br />43 <br />The city received a letter from Mr. Harley asking that no building permits be issued <br />to the above mentioned property owners because of a problem with Lot 7, Oakshore Park. <br />Councilman Hauer has taken this matter under advisement, and all requests regarding <br />this matter should be referred to him. <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Potts seconded, authorizing the Mayor to withhold his <br />signature from the Kubitschek/Peterson Special Use Permits. Mr. Hauer <br />is authorized to place this matter on the Council agenda when he feels it <br />would be appropriate. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS <br />6.1 Ordinance Committee - No discussion <br />6.2 Planning Commission - Mayor McAllister and George Atkinson have agreed to work <br />with John Kostuch to try and guide him along with his proposed subdivision. <br />6.3 Building Inspector <br />It was the consensus of the Council that Mr. Scherer's application for an addition <br />to his residence to be used for baking miniature donuts would be considered a home <br />application, and would require only a building permit from the city. <br />6.4 Clerk <br />MO'T'ION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that Carole LaBelle and LuAnn <br />Prachar be authorized to purchase government telephones for $8.00/each. <br />All aye. Motion Carried.: <br />
