The City of Hugo will pay all costs, with <br />direct billing to the City of Hugo. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.3 Forest Lake Lions Club - Gambling License <br />The Forest Lake Lions Club has made application for a Class A Gambling License to <br />operate at the Texan Bar in the City of Hugo. <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City of Hugo do nothing with <br />the above mentioned application. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.5 Charles Shubat - Subdivision (2) <br />Mr. Shubat is proposing the division of 40 acres into two 20A parcels along Homestead <br />Avenue, between County Road 8A and 147th Street. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the subdivision request <br />of Charles Shubat to divide 40A into two 20A parcels subject to the fol- <br />lowing: provide "signed" certificate of survey and payment of $100.00 <br />parkland dedication. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Charles Shubat, representing fee owner, Leslie Raymond, discussed the proposal to <br />divide 40A into 4 10 acre parcels. The submitted certificate of survey indicates <br />the 4 lots are less than the required 10 acres. Mr. Shubat was of the understanding <br />that the parcel consisted of 40A but will need further clarification. It was suggested <br />that Shubat discuss the matter with the City Attorney to determine what can be done, <br />if anything, to get the division and comply with city regulations. <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Potts seconded, that the application of Leslie <br />Raymond be tabled until September 2, 1986. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.6 Arnold Palm - Subdivision <br />Mr. Palme has previously made application for subdivision of the same property in 1984 <br />but never completed the steps to finalize the application. The Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of the sketch plan and preliminary plan, as there were no changes <br />made to the original application.
