September 2, 1986 <br />5.8 Walt Thielbar - Special Use Permit <br />Mr. Thielbar is interested in purchasing the Ronald Granger residence on 165th Street <br />and would like to operate an upholstery business out of the accessory building. <br />The Planning Commission reviewed the application and recommended approval. <br />MO`T'ION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Special Use Permit for <br />Walt Thielbar to operate an upholstery shop out of an accessory building <br />at 7483 165th Street,and subject to the following conditions: <br />1. No generation of any offensive odors, glare, dust, smoke, noise, <br />vebration, or any objectionabl e influences beyond the property line. <br />2. No over-the-counter sales. <br />3. No signs, other than ordinary signs, allowed in the Cons. zone. <br />4. No more than three employees. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.9 Norman Horton - Auto Dismantling License (2) <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the (2) auto dismant- <br />ling licenses for Norman Horton, subject to the following conditions being <br />met: <br />1. Water samples prove to be satisfactory. <br />2. All conditions, as previously stated, be complied with. <br />VO'T'ING FOR: Peltier, Potts, Schwab, McAllister <br />VOTING AGAINST: Hauer <br />Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City Clerk be directed <br />to send a Certified letter to the Brandt's requesting they appear at the <br />next City Council meeting to discuss the appearance of house & business. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.10 Minnesota Adhesives - Annual Review <br />Let the record the Fire Chief submitted a report of acceptance, after inspection, <br />and the City Council considered same. <br />5.11 David Schumann Removal of Vehicles from Property <br />Mr. Schumann had applied for an Auto Dismantlin License, which was denied by the <br />City Council. He had until the end of August in which to comply with the order for <br />removal of the vehicles. Mayor McAllister stated that he will have the sheriff's <br />office make an inspection of the property and make a report. <br />6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br />6.1 Ordinance Committee - No discussion. <br />
