//6 - <br />October 6, 1986 <br />5.8 Jim Gese - Variance <br />Mr. Gese, owner of property on Kerry Court, needs a variance from the frontyard <br />setback of 40'. The need for a variance was not apparent until after the Building <br />Permit was issued and the hole dug. Gese submitted a letter from the adjoining <br />property owners stating that they had no objection to a variance request. <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the variance request of <br />Jim Gese to construct his residence with a front yard setback of -22' rather <br />than the required 40'. Applicant to sign a hold -harmless agreement. <br />VOTING FOR: Hauer, Peltier, Schwab, McAllister <br />VOTING AGAINST: Potts <br />Motion Carried. <br />5.7 Gary Vizenor - Subdivision <br />Mr. Vizenor is proposing the division of 13.6 acres from a 232 acre parcel. The <br />residence has already been constructed on the 13.6 acres with acess from 140th <br />Street. <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the subdivision <br />request of Gerald Mogren/Richard Schreier/Gary Vizenor to divide 13.6 acres <br />from 232 acres subject to the following: <br />1. Payment of $100.00 parkland dedication. <br />2. Submission of letter stating that fee title will be conveyed to Gary <br />and Marlene Mogren. <br />3. Letter from the Mogrens stating they are aware 140th might need to <br />be closed with access from Keystone Avenue. <br />4. Provide signatures of estate trustee - Carl and Elsie Streich. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.10 Cary Weisner - Site Plan Approval (IndustrialZ <br />Mr. Weisner is proposing the construction of another 40 x 80 building on his one <br />acre parcel on 140th Street (west of Highway 61). The building would remain in his <br />ownership and would be rented for a machine shop (permitted principal use). There <br />is sanitary sewer available, with details to be worked out by the City Engineer. <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Site Plan for Cary <br />Weisner for the construction of a 40 x 80 building on his one acre lot <br />located at 5451 140th Street North. New construction identical to <br />existing building on property with construction according to Site Plan <br />on file (1986-61). <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CLERK <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, authorizing the City Clerk to <br />sign a letter of intent for Pannell Kerr Forster to audit the city's <br />1986 books. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
