//6 - October 6, 1986 5.8 Jim Gese - Variance Mr. Gese, owner of property on Kerry Court, needs a variance from the frontyard setback of 40'. The need for a variance was not apparent until after the Building Permit was issued and the hole dug. Gese submitted a letter from the adjoining property owners stating that they had no objection to a variance request. MOTION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the variance request of Jim Gese to construct his residence with a front yard setback of -22' rather than the required 40'. Applicant to sign a hold -harmless agreement. VOTING FOR: Hauer, Peltier, Schwab, McAllister VOTING AGAINST: Potts Motion Carried. 5.7 Gary Vizenor - Subdivision Mr. Vizenor is proposing the division of 13.6 acres from a 232 acre parcel. The residence has already been constructed on the 13.6 acres with acess from 140th Street. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the subdivision request of Gerald Mogren/Richard Schreier/Gary Vizenor to divide 13.6 acres from 232 acres subject to the following: 1. Payment of $100.00 parkland dedication. 2. Submission of letter stating that fee title will be conveyed to Gary and Marlene Mogren. 3. Letter from the Mogrens stating they are aware 140th might need to be closed with access from Keystone Avenue. 4. Provide signatures of estate trustee - Carl and Elsie Streich. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.10 Cary Weisner - Site Plan Approval (IndustrialZ Mr. Weisner is proposing the construction of another 40 x 80 building on his one acre parcel on 140th Street (west of Highway 61). The building would remain in his ownership and would be rented for a machine shop (permitted principal use). There is sanitary sewer available, with details to be worked out by the City Engineer. MOTION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Site Plan for Cary Weisner for the construction of a 40 x 80 building on his one acre lot located at 5451 140th Street North. New construction identical to existing building on property with construction according to Site Plan on file (1986-61). All aye. Motion Carried. CLERK MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, authorizing the City Clerk to sign a letter of intent for Pannell Kerr Forster to audit the city's 1986 books. All aye. Motion Carried.
