MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL November 3, 1986 The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor McAllister at 7:09 PM. PRESENT: Hauer, Peltier, Potts, Schwab, McAllister 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION: Peltier made motion, Potts seconded, to approve the minutes of October 27, 1986 as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General Claims for November 3, 1986 as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for November 3, 1986 as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS AND LICENSES 5.1 James Leroux - Renew of Mobile Home Permit MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to renew the mobile home permit for James Leroux for a 90 day period. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.3 City Administrator Mayor McAllister stated that he has had a continuing discussion with Ken Huber, the Council's first choice who initially turned down the offer for City Administrator. McAllister stated that he has accepted the position, subject to Council approval, of an amended contract. The Council recessed in order to review the amended con- tract as agreed to by Mr. Huber. MOTION: Hauer made motion, Schwab seconded, that the City of Hugo adopt the EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT, as amended, between Hugo and Mr. Ken Huber, and authorize the Mayor to sign on behalf of the City. VOTING FOR: Hauer, Schwab, McAllister VOTING AGAINST: Peltier, Potts Motion Carried. 5.2 Ron Cressman - Hugo Recycling Center Mr. Crescout Troop 151, discussed their troop using the site of the Old Village Hall as a recycling center. Their plans are to move in a single -car garage at this time, and at some later, move in another single -car garage. Mr. Cressman stated that there would possitively not be any outside storage of material.
