MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br />November 3, 1986 <br />The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor McAllister <br />at 7:09 PM. <br />PRESENT: Hauer, Peltier, Potts, Schwab, McAllister <br />3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Potts seconded, to approve the minutes of October 27, <br />1986 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br />November 3, 1986 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for <br />November 3, 1986 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS AND LICENSES <br />5.1 James Leroux - Renew of Mobile Home Permit <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to renew the mobile home permit for <br />James Leroux for a 90 day period. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.3 City Administrator <br />Mayor McAllister stated that he has had a continuing discussion with Ken Huber, the <br />Council's first choice who initially turned down the offer for City Administrator. <br />McAllister stated that he has accepted the position, subject to Council approval, <br />of an amended contract. The Council recessed in order to review the amended con- <br />tract as agreed to by Mr. Huber. <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Schwab seconded, that the City of Hugo adopt the <br />EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT, as amended, between Hugo and Mr. Ken Huber, and <br />authorize the Mayor to sign on behalf of the City. <br />VOTING FOR: Hauer, Schwab, McAllister <br />VOTING AGAINST: Peltier, Potts <br />Motion Carried. <br />5.2 Ron Cressman - Hugo Recycling Center <br />Mr. Crescout Troop 151, discussed their troop using the site of the Old Village <br />Hall as a recycling center. Their plans are to move in a single -car garage at this <br />time, and at some later, move in another single -car garage. Mr. Cressman stated <br />that there would possitively not be any outside storage of material. <br />
