/Jy <br />MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br />December 15, 1986 <br />The regular meeting was called to order by Mayor McAllister at 7:25 PM. <br />PRESENT: Hauer, Peltier, <br />Attorney, Charles Johnson <br />Engineer, Howard Kuusisto <br />Administrator, Ken Huber <br />3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Potts, Schwab, McAllister <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to approve the minutes of 11/24/86 <br />as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to approve the minutes of 12/1/86 <br />after the following correction has been made: <br />Page 137 (6.5 - 2nd motion) Council vote should be recorded as: <br />ALL AYE. MOTION CARRIED. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br />12/15/86 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for <br />12/15/86 as sulxnitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br />5.1 Richard Busse - Rezoning <br />Mr. Busse, 12863 Ingersoll Avenue North, had applied for a rezoning of his property <br />from the RR2 district to the SFE district. The property, 5.11 acres (+ or -), lies <br />on the east side of Ingersoll just east of Sunset Lake. The Planning Commission held <br />a public hearing with a number of residents present expressing concern with increased <br />traffic, and subsequently recommended denial of the rezoning application. On 12/15/86, <br />the City received a letter from Mr. Busse requesting that his application be with- <br />drawn from consideration. <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City of Hugo accept the letter <br />of withdrawal for rezoning consideration submitted by Richard Busse. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.2 Planning Commission Appointment <br />George Atkinson, Planning Commission Chairman, discussed the letter of Gerald Sullivan <br />requesting an appointment to the Commission with Harry Rudisill.
