January 7, 1985 <br />5.5 Elsie Jasinski - City Initiated Rezoning <br />The city previously approved a 10 acre land division. It came to light that the size <br />was incorrect for the existing zoning. While typing these minutes, another error was <br />discovered. Thought the land was zoned AG at the meeting of 1/7/85, but it is in <br />fact CONS. Therefore, this matter will again be placed on agenda for a public hearing <br />for rezoning from C to A. <br />5.6 MAPSI - Contract <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to authorize the Mayor's signature <br />on the 1985 animal control contract with MAPSI. <br />AYE: Peltier, Potts, Schwab, McAllister <br />NAY: Hauer <br />Motion Carried. <br />ART MUNGER - SPA <br />Mr. Munger previously received SPA for the construction of an accessory building on <br />his property on 165th Street. After review of the matter, it was determined that <br />a SUP would be required, because they would exceed the 3600 square foot requirement. <br />This matter will be addressed at the PC meeting of 1/9/85. <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that this application be forwarded <br />to the Planning Commission for consideration of a SUP. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CLERK <br />Ken Krahn is interested in purchasing the residence at 6316 170th Street, but would <br />like to obtain a temporary mobile home permit for his parents to reside in. His <br />father has asthma and cancer, therefore, would be apply under a hardship case. <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to schedule a public hearing for <br />January 21, 1985, at 7;45 PM, to consider the request of Ken Krahn for a <br />temporary mobile home permit under Chapter 40-12, Subd. D. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />140'TION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that Arthur Potts be appointed <br />as the official liaison from the Hugo City Council to the Rice Creek Watershed <br />Board of Managers. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />8.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />8.1 Curt Leibel - Removal of Garage (No Permit) <br />The building inspector has his direction if the building is not removed in the allo- <br />cated time frame (see minutes of 12/17/84). <br />MO'T'ION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, to adjourn at 10:50 PM. <br />All aye.
