DIA MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL January 21, 1985 The meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor, Charles Schwab, at 7:01 PM. PRESENT: Peltier, Potts, Schwab, Hauer ABSENT: McAllister Councilman received a letter from the Mayor stating that because of a previous en- gagement, he would be unable to attend tonight's meeting. He asked the Council for authorization to deviate from the published agenda in order to address certain reso- lutions, as submitted by the Mayor. MOTION: Schwab made motion, Hauer seconded, that 6.0, ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS be changed in the order in which they appear and be considered at the present time. AYE: Potts, Schwab, Hauer NAY: Peltier Motion Carried. MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1985-1A, A RESO- LUTION DIRECTING THE RECORDS OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF HUGO, TO RECORD THE ATTENDANCE RECORD OF THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER DESIGNATED AT THE 1ST COUNCIL MEETING EACH YEAR. AYE: Schwab NAY: Peltier, Potts, Hauer Motion Failed. MOTION: Schwab made motion, Potts seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1985-2, A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL CHART. AYE: Potts, Schwab, Hauer NAY: Peltier [MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1985-3, A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE COUNCIL MEMBER FROM WARD 2 AS COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 1987. AYE: None NAY: Peltier, Potts, Schwab, Hauer Motion Failed. MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to table the balance of the Resolutions until such time as they can be explained as to intent, by the author of the proposals, possibly setting a particular meeting for them. All aye. Motion Carried. 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to approve the minutes of January 7, 1985, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried.
