13 <br />January 21, 1985 <br />5.8 Ron Gray - Disc on Resignation <br />Mr. Gray had submitted a letter referencing his current resignation, and was at to- <br />night's meeting stating that his job description was expanded beyond for what he was <br />originally employeed. He stated that he had a limited amount of time in which to <br />complete the work, therefore, some things did not get done. He suggested a better <br />job description be drafted for whomever in hired to fill the vacancy. <br />8.0 NEW BUSINESS <br />8.1 Combine Savings Accts. <br />LuAnn Prachar, bookkeeper for the City, was present and stated that the audit for <br />1984 has been completed. It is the recommendation of the auditor that seven different <br />savings accounts be combined into one account to obtain the most interest for the dollars. <br />She will be contacting the official depositories for the city and report the interest <br />rates, and her recommendation as to where the money can best serve the city. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to authorize the City Treasurer to <br />investigate the official city depositories for interest rates for the <br />future combining of seven (7) savings accounts into one money market savings <br />account. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />9.0 ATTORNEY AND ENGINEER <br />9.1 The Bottle Company <br />Mr. Kuusisto stated that they will make an on-site inspection of the premises to deter- <br />mine whether the Bottle Company has complied with any and all requirements. <br />Mr. Johnson submitted his monthly report. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City execute a release for <br />the Armon septic system bond. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Howard Kuusisto, Romi Slowiak, and Art Potts met to try finalize the city's require- <br />ments to get their Comprehensive Plan approved by the Metro Council. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to adopt RESOL[TrION 1985-3, A RESOLU- <br />TION SUPPLEMENTING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF HUGO. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Schwab seconded, to appoint Howard Schletty to the <br />Board of Appeals. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to extend the meeting passed 11:00 PM. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
