February 4, 1985 <br />GOOD NEIGHBOR DAYS <br />17 <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Hugo Lions Club be granted <br />ex0lusive use of the City Park on June 8, 9, and 10 for the annual GOOD NEIGHBOR <br />DAYS, and the Mayor be authorized to hire off-duty police officers for the <br />event. Officers will be covered by the city's workman's compensation policy. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Ken Krahn - Temporary Mobile Home Permit <br />Mr. Krahn submitted a bid and proposal from Ronnie Bowman forradditional septic system <br />to be used for the mobile home to be moved on the property. Mayor McAllister stated <br />that the city does not want two separate septic systems on the property after the <br />mobile home is removed. It was determined that it would probably make more sense to <br />update the existing system so that it could be utilized by the residence when the <br />mobile home is no longer required. <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to grant a Temporary Mobile Home Permit <br />to Ken Krahn, 6316 170th Street, under Chapter 40, Article III, Subdvision D, <br />to be renewed every 90 days, and that he install an additional septic system <br />to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to amend this motion to include that <br />when the mobile home is removed from the property, the new septic system be <br />removed as well. <br />VOTING ON AMENDMENT <br />AYE: Peltier, Potts, Hauer, McAllister <br />NAY: Schwab <br />Motion Carried. <br />ORIGINAL MOTION <br />All aye. Notion Carried. <br />Mayor McAllister stated that a Building Permit will be required to move the mobile home <br />on the property, but that the fee will be waived. However, Mr. Krahn will be required <br />to obtain a Plumbing Permit for the work to be done on the septic system. <br />5.6 Lu Prachar - Savings Accounts <br />It was the recommendation of the city's auditor that the city combine seven savings <br />accounts into one account (total of $303,377.82). <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City Treasurer combine all <br />savings accounts currently at the 1st State Bank of Hugo into one money market <br />savings account at the 1st State Bank of Hugo. <br />All aye.
