41 May 6, 1985 MOTION: McAllister made motion, Hauer seconded, that the City Council will accept the opinion of the City Attorney relating to this matter. Potts - Let the record show we should not be abdicating our vote to an unelected official. I am willing to come in for a special meeting. VOTING FOR: Schwab, Hauer, McAllister VOTING AGAINST: Potts ABSTAINED; Peltier Motion Carried. Hauer - For the record, regardless of the city Attorney's opinion, the party will still need to deal with the matter of restrictive covenants. 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES 6.1 Ordinance Committee - No discussion 6.2 Planning Commission - No discussion 6.3 Building Inspector Mr. Crever asked about a Lions Club matter as to the location of utilities so that they could concrete the picnic area to the Lion's building. McAllister suggested the club contact engineer Kuusisto. 6.5 Clerk MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Job Order 47424 for Northwestern Bell. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: Schwab made motion, McAllister seconded, that the City of Hugo enter into a contract between HUMAN SERVICES INC., IN WASHINGTON COUN'T'Y AND HEALTH RESOURCES ASSISTANCE CORPORATION EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE SERVICES and the three office personnel (Creager, LaBelle, and Prachar), at an annual cost to the City of $5.00/employee. All aye. Motion Carried. NEW BUSINESS MOTION: Peltier made motion, Potts seconded, to set a special meeting for June 3, 1985, at 6:00 PM, for Curtis Sparts to explain the recycling center as presently operated in Forest Lake Township. All aye. Motion Carried. RICHARD SCHUH MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement with Richard Schuh regarding the purchase of gravel from the Andrew Goiffon pit. All aye. Motion Carried.
