41 <br />May 6, 1985 <br />MOTION: McAllister made motion, Hauer seconded, that the City Council will <br />accept the opinion of the City Attorney relating to this matter. <br />Potts - Let the record show we should not be abdicating our vote to an unelected <br />official. I am willing to come in for a special meeting. <br />VOTING FOR: Schwab, Hauer, McAllister <br />VOTING AGAINST: Potts <br />ABSTAINED; Peltier <br />Motion Carried. <br />Hauer - For the record, regardless of the city Attorney's opinion, the party will <br />still need to deal with the matter of restrictive covenants. <br />6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br />6.1 Ordinance Committee - No discussion <br />6.2 Planning Commission - No discussion <br />6.3 Building Inspector <br />Mr. Crever asked about a Lions Club matter as to the location of utilities so that <br />they could concrete the picnic area to the Lion's building. McAllister suggested <br />the club contact engineer Kuusisto. <br />6.5 Clerk <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Job Order 47424 for <br />Northwestern Bell. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, McAllister seconded, that the City of Hugo enter into <br />a contract between HUMAN SERVICES INC., IN WASHINGTON COUN'T'Y AND HEALTH <br />RESOURCES ASSISTANCE CORPORATION EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE SERVICES and the <br />three office personnel (Creager, LaBelle, and Prachar), at an annual cost <br />to the City of $5.00/employee. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Potts seconded, to set a special meeting for June 3, <br />1985, at 6:00 PM, for Curtis Sparts to explain the recycling center as <br />presently operated in Forest Lake Township. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />RICHARD SCHUH <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk <br />to execute the agreement with Richard Schuh regarding the purchase of <br />gravel from the Andrew Goiffon pit. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
