43 <br />MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br />May 20, 1985 <br />The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order at 7:15 PM. <br />PRESENT: Peltier, Potts, Schwab, Hauer, McAllister <br />Also, Engineer Kuusisto and Attorney Johnson <br />3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to approve the minutes of May 6, <br />1985, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br />May 20, 1985, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Water Claims for <br />May 20, 1985, as submitted. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Sewer Claims for <br />May 20, 1985, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the claini for Project 8407 <br />as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br />5.1 David Truax - Disc on Brown's Creek Watershed District <br />Mr. Truax, 10123 Kerry Court, was present to volunteer to serve as commissioner <br />on the Brown's Creek Watershed Board from the City of Hugo. An alternate will also <br />be required. The draft of the joint powers agreement is under review by the <br />Council and City Attorney with a completion date by July 1, 1985. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City of Hugo appoint David <br />Truax to serve as its commissioner on the Board of Brown's Creek Watershed <br />District provided the city execute the Brown's Creek Joint Powers Agree- <br />ment. The clerk's office is to advertise for an alternate. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.2 Sheron Peltier - Rezoning <br />Mrs. Peltier, 13141 Henna Avenue, has applied for rezoning her 10 acre parcel from <br />AG to RR2 for purpose of the sale of a 5 acre parcel for future development. Mr. <br />Johnson outlined criteria to be considered for applications for rezoning, e.g.: <br />highest and best use of property, surrounding uses, soil and water conditions, <br />determine permitted uses in zone, roads, and utilities.
