71 <br />August 5, 1985 <br />5.9 Karie Rudeen - Discussion on mobile homes <br />Mrs. Rudeen, home owner near 180th Street and Keystone, was present to inquire as <br />to city policy regarding "mobile homes" as permanent residences in Hugo. She was <br />told that any "manufactured house" that was constructed in 1976 or later, and was <br />960 square feet, could be used as a single family residence. Three years ago, the <br />City of Hugo defeated an ordinance change that would have required these hones to <br />be a minimum of 20 feet in width. There was no decision made by the Council to <br />reconsider the present policy. <br />5.8 Agreement - LARC and Hugo <br />The City of Hugo will receive $1135.00 (recycling grant) from Washington County, <br />and will then forward this sum to the LARC in Forest Lake Township. The city <br />has entered into a contract with the county, and also needs to sign the Memoran- <br />dum of Agreement with LARC. <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Mayor be authorized to <br />execute the agreement between LARC and the City of Hugo. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.2 St. John's Church - On Sale Non -intoxicating License <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, to grant an ON SALE NON -INTOXICATING <br />LIMITED SELLOR LICENSE to the church of St. John's the Baptist for 8/25/85. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />GAMBLING LICENSES <br />MOTION: Hauer made motion, Potts seconded, that in regard to the Gambling Licenses <br />for the Minnesota Humane Society and St. John's Church, we do absolutely <br />nothing. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEE'S <br />6.1 Ordinance Committee - working on subdivision ordinance. <br />6.2 Planning Commission - no discussion <br />6.3 Building Inspector <br />Crever is working with Will Harris to finalize the Certificate of Occupancy for the <br />Texan Bar. <br />Crever has not had any response as to the legality of barb -wired fences in a resi- <br />dential neighborhood. Attorney Johnson is to report at a later date. <br />Mayor McAllister stated that on 8/5/85 he met with two residents that live on 150th <br />Street. They claimed that the Twin Pine Trailer Park was moving in a new trailer <br />along their property to the north. It was their opinion that the trailer would be <br />infringing onto their property. There was no surveyor's marker on the line, so it <br />was impossible to determine the exact property line. McAllister stated that he re- <br />ferred the matter to the Minnesota Department of Health, as they regulate mobile <br />
