AI <br />MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br />December 2, 1985 <br />The regular meeting of the Hugo City Council was called to order at 7:00 PM by <br />Mayor Michael McAllister <br />PRESENT: Potts, Schwab, McAllister <br />ABSENT: Peltier and Hauer <br />3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the minutes of Ncvember 18, <br />1985 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />MOTION: Potts made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br />December 2, 1985 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Potts seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for <br />December 2, 1985 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMKUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br />Fire Chief <br />Ron Istvanovich was present, and stated that District Memorial Hospital has expressed <br />interest, again, to provide Hugo's ambulance service. Ron will review their pro- <br />cedures for the next 6 months, with the Council's consent, and make a report in June. <br />District Memorial will be sending the city a proposal for CPR and First Aid Training <br />of the members for the HFD. <br />JAMES MOSTEK - SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />Mr. Mostek, 12601 Homestead Drive (Lot 5), was present to discuss the proposed <br />filling between his lot and the lot owned by Castle Design (Lot 6). He stated that <br />there would less than 100 yards of fill used. Howard Kuusisto felt that a SUP <br />would be appropriate for the protection of Mr. Mostek and the City. There was <br />considerable discussion regarding the drainage easement required along the pro- <br />perty line. There exists now a 4' easement to provide lake access to the property <br />owner across the road from Lot 5. Mostek stated he would try and resolve the <br />problem. <br />MOTION: Schwab made motion, Potts seconded, to grant a Special Use Permit to <br />James Mostek, 12601 Homestead Drive, to fill between Lots 5 and 6 for <br />drainage purposes. Approval is subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Property owner shall comply with all requirements of the City Engineer. <br />2. Erosion control structure to be installed and slope to be seeded <br />in the spring. <br />(continued) <br />
