2 January 3, 1984 SHORELAND MANAGEMENT - DNR The city has one year in which to adopt the Shoreland Management Plan as submitted by the DNR relative to lake classification in Hugo. Round Lake and Egg Lake are the only two that will have to be addressed within the 60 days notification limit. The city's file was given to Theodora Peltier for her review for necessary ordi- nances that will have to be adopted. 5.4 PUBLIC HEARING - Revenue Sharing The regular meeting was recessed and the public hearing to consider use of Revenue Sharing funds was called to order at 7:30 PM. Last year, all monies collected were used for road maintenance as has been the tradition in the past. There was some discussion as to other areas where this money could be spent. There was no one present at the public hearing to make comment. MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, that the Federal Revenue Sharing Funds to be received in 1984 be used for the maintenance and repair of roads in the City of Hugo. All aye. Motion Carried. The public hearing was closed at 7:40 PM. 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES 6.1 Planning Commission - No discussion 6.2 Ordinance Committee - No discussion 6.3 Building Inspector - No discussion 6.4 Fire Chief - No discussion 6.5 Clerk The clerk inquired as to the wishes of the Council regarding the purchase of the punchcard voting system. The Council will review the information provided them, and make a decision at the Council meeting of January 16th. 7.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS MOTION: Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE 198, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 150 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE ENTITLED "LIQUOR, BEER & WINE", TO ESTABLISH LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS, AND AMEND HOURS OF SALES. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: Vail made motion, McAllister seconded, to adopt ORDINANCF 199, AN ORDI- NANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 190 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE ENTITLED "NON -IN'T'OXICATING MALT LIQUOR", TO ESTABLISH LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIREMEIATS, TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONS FOR LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS, AND TO AMEND HOURS OF SALE. All aye. Motion Carried.
