12 February 7, 1983 <br /> Mayor McAllister stated that the city sold all its equipment last fall and is <br /> in need of a vehicle for various city matters. The county has a 79 Ford, 3/4 <br /> ton pickup truck, with a utility box, for sale. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, McAllister seconded, that the City of Hugo offer <br /> the Washington County Highway Department an amount not to exceed <br /> $3,000.00 for a 1979 Ford 3/4 ton pickup truck. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, McAllister seconded, requesting the Water Superintendent, <br /> Robert Burkard, and James A. Wisner, sewer department, draft a job <br /> description for their respective departments and jobs. This information <br /> to be discussed at the Council meeting of March 7, 1983. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 10.0 MISCELLANEOUS <br /> Vern Peloquin was present, and stated that Freeland Avenue, located in the Pelo- <br /> quin Industrial Park is still in his name. The street was constructed according <br /> to city standards, has public utilities installed, and is maintained by the city. <br /> McAllister stated that zoning calls for blacktopping of city streets but a <br /> variance could be granted for a gravel road. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, that the city give concept <br /> approval to accepting Freeland Avenue from the property owner, as a <br /> public street subject to the review and comment by the City Attorney, <br /> and payment to the City of Hugo all costs of accepting the street <br /> by Mr. Vern Peloquin. Approval of a variance to blacktopping of <br /> Freeland Avenue. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to adjourn at 9:18 PM. <br /> All aye.
