13 <br /> MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br /> February 22, 1983 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor McAllister at 7:02 PM. <br /> PRESENT: McAllister, Peltier, Atkinson, Vail <br /> Also - Attorney Johnson and Engineer Kuusisto <br /> ABSENT: Schwab <br /> 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes of February 7, <br /> 1983, after the following correction has been made: <br /> Page 11 (RESOLUTION 1983-3) - PELTIER voted against the motion, not Atkinson. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br /> February 22, 1983, after deletion of the claim for American Legion in <br /> the amount of $45.00. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Atkinson seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for- <br /> February <br /> orFe} uary 22, 1983, as submitted. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COIvMUNICATIONS AND LICENSES <br /> 5.1 Larry Durand, Disc on status of Mobile Home Permit <br /> Mr. Durand was present, and stated that Windsor-Gro is attempting to sell the mobile <br /> located on their property. He inquired as to whether he could covert the trailer <br /> to an office and storage space if they were unable to sell the home. Mayor McAllister <br /> stated that this was not the kind of precedence the city would like to start in the <br /> RB zone. The city would possibly grant an extension for the permit, and the bond <br /> which expires 5/7/83 would have to be kept current with the extension. Mr. Durand <br /> stated that if the home was not sold by the first meeting in May, he would supply <br /> an extended bond certificate. <br /> 5.2 Ron Istvanovich - Fire Department <br /> Ron stated that Rush City would purchase the FD's 3 MSA air paks for $1200.00/total <br /> The cost for 3 new Scott Air Paks would be $2304.00/total, or a cost of $1104.00 to <br /> the city from the FD budget. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, authorizing the Fire Chief to sell 3 MSA <br /> Air Paks to Rush City for $1200 and the purchase of 3 Scott Air Paks to re- <br /> place them in the amount of $2304.00. Total cost to city - $1104.00. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
