5 <br /> MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br /> January 16, 1984 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor McAllister at 7:07 PM. <br /> PRESENT: Peltier, Atkinson, Schwab, Vail, McAllister <br /> Attorney Johnson and Engineer Kuusisto <br /> 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes of the meeting <br /> of January 3, 1984, after the following addition to the minutes has been <br /> made: <br /> After discussion, it was the concensus of the Council that they agreed <br /> with the emergency list of names to be submitted to the Sheriff's office. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the General Claims of <br /> January 16, 1984, as submitted. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Atkinson seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for <br /> January 16, 1984, as submitted. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMvIUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br /> 5.1 Joan McMillan - Disc of Land Division <br /> Requested to be cancelled. <br /> 5.3 Randall Irving - Renew of Mobile Home Permit <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to renew the Mobile Home Permit for <br /> Randall Irving, 12870 Henna Avenue, under Chapter 40, Article III, Sub- <br /> division B, for a period of 90 days. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> No discussion. <br /> 7.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 7.1 Punchcard Voting System <br /> It was the concensus that the new voting system would be an asset to the city, with <br /> recovery of the initial cost in approximately 2 to 3 years. <br />
