6 January 16, 1984 <br /> Punchcard Voting <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Schwab seconded, that the City of Hugo purchase the <br /> punchcard voting system as outlined in the cost estimate of EL Marketing <br /> dated December 7, 1983. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> APPOINTMENTS <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to appoint Ronald Istvanovich <br /> as Fire Chief for the City of Hugo in the year 1984. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Schwab seconded, that Joseph McMahon be appointed <br /> 1st Assistant Fire Chief for the year 1984. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: Schwab made motion, Vail seconded, that Glen Reimer be appointed 2nd <br /> Assistant Fire Chief for the year 1984. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 8.0 NEW BUSINESS <br /> Roger Bacon has requested the City to pay for his registration fee to attend <br /> school so that he might obtain his Class D Sewer License. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to authorize Roger Bacon to attend <br /> the school necessary to maintain a Class D Sewer license. The City <br /> will pay the fee of $60.00. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> RICHARD GRANGER - REZONING <br /> Mr. Granger is proposing the rezoning of 30 acres from RR1 to the SFE zone. The <br /> Planning Commission held a public hearing on January 11 , 1984, and recommended <br /> approval of the request. Mrs. Peltier had the only dissenting comment regarding <br /> the proposal. It was her feeling that the land could not accommodate indivi- <br /> dual wells because of the high water table. <br /> MOTION: Schwab made motion, Atkinson seconded, that the rezoning request of <br /> Richard Granger be approved by the adoption of ORDINANCE 201 , AN <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING THE HUGO CODE ENTITLED "ZONING" BY AMENDING THE <br /> ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY. <br /> VOTING FOR: Atkinson, Schwab, Vail, McAllister <br /> VOTING AGAINST: Peltier <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
