18 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL March 5, 1984 The regular meeting of the Hugo City Council was called to order at 7:11 PM. PRESENT: Peltier, Atkinson, Schwab, Vail, McAllister 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION: Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes of February 21 , 1984, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the General Claims for March 5, 1984, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for March 5, 1984, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES 5.1 William Francois - Site Plan Approval Mr. Francois, 12020 July Avenue, is proposing the construction of a 24 x 36 woodframe • garage to be used for his personal use. The Planning Commission recommended approval with no restrictions. MOTION: Peltier made motion, Atkinson seconded, to approve the Site Plan for William Francois, 12020 July Avenue, for the construction of a 24 x 36 accessory building for his personal use. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.2 Richard Vail - Request for Reduction in Letters of Credit Mr. Vail is required to keep two letters of credit on file with the City in relation to his Shamrock Glen subdivision ($27,000 and $112,500) . Mr. Vail would like the latter to be reduced by the City. Upon inspection of the Shamrock Glen site by the City Engineer (report on file) , it was determined that the letter of credit could be reduced by $27,000.00. The updated guarantees are to be filed with the City by 3/6/84. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City Clerk bOirected to accept a new Letter of Credit, replacing the $112,000 guarantee with a $27,000 reduction. All aye. Motion Carried.
