April 2, 1984 26 <br /> 5.8 Richard Vail <br /> Mr. Vail was present to determine when he could start making applications for <br /> Building Permits in his Shamrock Glen subdivision. Mayor McAllister stated that <br /> after an inspection by Howard Kuusisto, it was determined that two manholes would <br /> have to be sealed to eliminate infiltration of sand. After that is completed, <br /> applications can then be submitted for permits. <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS AND COMITTEES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee - No discussion <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission - No discussion <br /> 6.3 Building Inspector <br /> Mr. Crever submitted his monthly report. Tom Crever stated that the building <br /> constructed by Kevin Mann on 165th Street was 5 - 6 feet from the property line <br /> rather than 10' as allowed for in the SUP issued to him. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to send Kevin Mann a letter <br /> requesting his presence at the Council meeting of April 16, 1984, at <br /> 7:45 PM, to discuss the discrepancy in the Site Plan submitted and the <br /> actual location of his pole building. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 6.4 Fire Chief - No discussion <br /> 6.5 Clerk <br /> The city received a letter from Cindi Sullivan requesting use of Everton AVenue <br /> for a footrace to raise money for the Ramsey County Infant Program. The race <br /> has been scheduled for August 11 , 1984, with a starting time of 9:00 A.M. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to send a letter to Ms. Sullivan <br /> authorizing use of Everton Avenue for the requested date and time. <br /> Ms. Sullivan to work with the sheriff's office from both Ramsey and <br /> Washington County. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> Washington County is making the Sumner Youth Program available to the city again <br /> this year. Unfortunately, the city will not be able to make use of the program <br /> because of the lack of supervisory personnel. <br /> 7.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS - No Discussion <br /> 8.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS - No discussion <br /> 9.0 NEW BUSINESS <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, authorizing the Hugo Lions Club use <br /> of the city park on June 8, 9, and 10, 1984 for GOOD NEIGHBOR DAYS. <br /> All aye.
