April 16, 1984 33 <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Scwab seconded, that the City of Hugo accept the <br /> Fire Chief's letter of 4/16/84 confirming that his recommendations <br /> become the policy of the City of Hugo. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> The Fire Chief requested authorization to send four (4) men to the State Fire <br /> School for a cost of $250.00. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Fire Chief's <br /> request to send 4 men to the State Fire School for a cost not to ex- <br /> ceed $250.00. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> The Fire Chief informed the Council that the Fire Department was in need of 300' <br /> of 4" hose to replace the defective hose on #3 truck. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Schwab seconded, authorizing the Fire Chief to purchase <br /> 300' of 4" hose at approximately $2.70/foot, to replace the defective <br /> hose on #3 truck. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.8 Len Noack - Auto Dismantling License <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Auto Dismantling <br /> License for Dick and Mike Brandt (formerly Len's Auto Parts) subject <br /> to the following: <br /> 1. Installation of two monitoring wells to collect and monitor <br /> water samples <br /> 2. Current analysis to be taken by an independent testing lab and <br /> submitted to the City of Hugo by July 30 of each year. <br /> Motion withdrawn. <br /> MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Auto Dismantling <br /> License for Dick and Mike Brandt (Len's Auto Parts) subject to the <br /> following conditions: <br /> 1. Installation of two monitoring wells to collect and monitor water. <br /> 2. Water sampling to be conducted and analyzed by an independent <br /> laboratory. <br /> 3. Such collection should take place in the month of July, and the <br /> results of the testing to be submitted to Hugo at the time of <br /> annual issuance of the Auto Dismantling License. <br /> 4. All other conditions of the Special Use Permit are incorporated <br /> intothis action, and are in force. <br /> 5. License to said parties to be issued when proper transfer and <br /> ownership of premises have taken place. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> TOM CREVER <br /> The Building Inspector had been contacted by a person interested in residing in <br /> a manufactured house until he was in a position to construct a standard house. <br /> Mr. Crever was instructed to inform him that he may reside in the manufactured <br /> house provided he meets city requirements. The permanent situation may be <br /> changed to a temporary Mobile Home Permit while he is building his home. <br />
