41 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL May 21, 1984 The special meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM. PRESENT: Peltier, Schwab, McAllister ABSENT: Atkinson, Vail This special meeting was called to discuss the use of Glen Bjornson's property for a cattle operation in the RRII zone. All requirements for a legal special meeting were met. Mr. Bjornson, 12001 Ingersoll, was present at the meeting and stated that he was aware of the Special Use Permit requirment a year ago. Mayor McAllister asked if he intended to apply for a SUP, and Mr. Bjornson replied yes. Tom Frampton, owner of the nursery business adjoining Bjornson's property, was also present. Bjornson and Frampton ex- pressed a desire to rezone their property to Agriculture. Mayor McAllister informed Mr. Bjornson that the matter of the cows in a recreational lake will have tc adr1ressed prior to any application for rezoning. (VAIL ARRIVED AT 6:07 PM) . MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the record show Mr. Glen Bjornson, 12001 Ingersoll, has agreed to apply for a Special Use Permit. The City Council directs the Planning Commission to hold a public hearing on this matter. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to adjourn the special meeting at 6:15 PM. All aye. Motion Carried. PRESENT: Peltier, Atkinson, Schwab, McAllister Engineer, Howard Kuusisto ABSENT: Vail 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the minutes of May 7, 1984, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General Claims for May 2) 1984, after the following additions are made: Deane Vail ($240.00) - City Council pay Theodora Peltier ($35.00) - reimbursement for city codebook All aye. Motion Carried.
