52 June 18, 1984 <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the city install a barri- <br /> cade within the city right-of-way to curtail access to the public roadway <br /> from the area being used as a driveway from the mobile home park, which <br /> has not been approved. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 7.2 DNR - Lake Classification <br /> The City of Hugo is going to request that Egg Lake, Round Lake, and Sunset Lake be <br /> changed from a natural environment to a recreational development classification. <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, that the city submit the letter drafted <br /> June 19, 1984, to the DNR, Kent Lokkesmoe, regarding reclassification of <br /> lakes in the City of Hugo. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 8.0 NEW BUSINESS <br /> 8.1 Keystone & 180th - Street Improvement <br /> Engineer Kuusisto stated that Hugo's portion of cost in the upgrading of said inter- <br /> section was $1,200.00. The project has been initiated by New Scandia and May <br /> Townships to improve the sight distance. <br /> MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City of Hugo participate in <br /> the upgrading of Keystone Avenue and 180th Street project with New Scandia <br /> and May Townships, and Forest Lake. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 9.0 ATTORNEY AND ENGINEER <br /> Mr. Johnson submitted his monthly report. Engineer Kuusisto reported on the pro- <br /> posed improvement project to County Road J (120th Street) east of Highway 61. Kuu- <br /> sisto will check with the appropriate parties to determine Hugo's cost to participate <br /> in the project. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS <br /> Richard Granger was present and stated that George Jundiut would no longer be in- <br /> volved in his subdivision plan for road improvements. He will need to submit a <br /> revised plan eliminating Everton Avenue and 30' of the main east/west road. As <br /> 100% owner of the property, Mr. Granger will be petitioning the city for sanitary <br /> sewer, rural type street sections, and drainage/ponding improvements <br /> MO'T'ION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, that the City of Hugo accept the <br /> petition from improvements signed by Richard Granger on behalf of Birchwood <br /> Builders, and authorize a feasibility study. The petition is a valid pe- <br /> tition of 100% of the property owners <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
