61 <br /> MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br /> August 6, 1984 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor McAllister at 7:00 PM. <br /> PRESENT: Peltier, Atkinson, Schwab, McAllister <br /> Also, Attorney Johnson and Engineer Kuusisto <br /> 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the minutes of the Special <br /> Meeting of July 16, 1984, as submitted. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the minutes of the regular <br /> meeting of July 16, 1984, after the following correction has been made: <br /> Page 59 (#8) - correct spelling (Atkinson) <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br /> MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br /> August 7, 1984, after the following addition has been made: <br /> Joe McMahon, Jr. - $27.50 (temporary labor) <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Atkinson seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for <br /> August 7, 1984, as submitted. <br /> A11 aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br /> 5.1 Tom Oswald - Forest Lake Youth Service Bureau <br /> Mr. Oswald was present to inform the Council of changes that will be taking place in <br /> the service bureau: <br /> 1 . Change in -location - will be purchasing their building as a result of a large increase <br /> in their monthly rent. <br /> 2. Affiliation with Lakes Area Human Services - more professional personnel available <br /> 3. Reorganization of the Board of Directors. <br /> Mayor McAllister informed Oswald that the Council will consider renewal of the contract <br /> at budget time. He was not asking for any increase in the $ amount donated. If it <br /> appears the contract is in jeopardy, the city will invite Mr. Oswald back, otherwise, <br /> we will notify him of contract renewal. <br /> 5.2 Letter from White Bear Community Center <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to send a letter to WBCC acknowledging <br /> receipt of their letter, and informing Anne Reis that we will review this <br /> matter at budget time. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
