Motion Carried. <br /> Let the record show that the City Engineer has the latitude to negotiate with <br /> Ramsey County whether to blacktop, gravel, or limerock, whichever is in the best <br /> interest of the City of Hugo. <br /> 8.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 8.1 Richard Granger - Development Agreement <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to set a public hearing for <br /> August 20, 1984, at 6:00 PM, Hugo City Hall, to consider the request of <br /> Birchwood Builder for the bonding as submitted to the City Council, the <br /> feasibility study to be submitted by the City Engineer, final plat <br /> approval, and the Development Agreement. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & CC(1MI'rrr ES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee - No discussion <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission - No discussion <br /> 6.3 Building Inspector - No discussion <br /> 6.4 Fire Chief <br /> The fire chief was present to request authorization to make FD purchases. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Fire Chief be authorized <br /> to make the following purchases: <br /> 1. Fire hose - $762.50 <br /> 2. 4" soft suction hose - $157.20 <br /> 3. Replace tires on #3 truck. Fire Chief to obtain 3 written bids. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> The Fire Chief was directed to advise the secretary of the FD to provide the re- <br /> quested material by the plaintiff in the Oman vs. Hugo litigation. <br /> Engineer Kuusisto is to provide an estimate to obtain a complete set of plans for Hugo's <br /> water system. <br /> Engineer Kuusisto provided the Council with a plan for a 25 x 46 addition to the <br /> north side of City Hall. Represenatives from the Fire Department inquired as to <br /> whether any consideration was given to an addition to the west side of the building. <br /> Mayor McAllister estimated the northerly addition would cost approximately $20,000. <br />
