August 20, 1984 <br /> 5.4 Steve Gaffney - Special Use Permit <br /> Mr. Gaffney has made application to move his adhesive business into a vacant building <br /> in the Bald Eagle Industrial Park. The Planning Commission recommended approval <br /> provided Mr. Gaffney submit a list of all chemicals he would using in his operation. <br /> This list was submitted. Mr. Gaffney stated that no waste would be generated, and <br /> there would no storage of half-filled drums. They should not exceed 4 employees. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Special Use Permit <br /> for Minnesota Adhesives, Inc., to locate in the Bald Eagle Industrial Park, <br /> 5118 130th Street, subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1 . Minnesota Adhesives will comply with all State Fire Marshall's <br /> recommendations and all recommendations of the Hugo Fire Department. <br /> 2. There will be no storage or disposal of any chemical waste product <br /> from the facility. <br /> 3. This permit shall be subject to annual review. <br /> 4. The city will be kept informed of any changes in chemicals other <br /> than those submitted on the list to the clerk's office. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.5 Richard and Michael Brandt - Auto Dismantling License <br /> The Brandts were instructed to apply for a new license at the time they became the <br /> fee owners of property formerly owned by Len Noack. Monitoring wells will be installed <br /> on the property, and reports should be submitted prior to July 30 of each year at <br /> renewal time. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Auto Dismantling <br /> License for CeeJays, Inc., this license replacing the license previously <br /> held by Len Noack. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> AT'T'ORNEY AND ENGINEER <br /> Mr. Johnson submitted his monthly report. <br /> Engineer Kuusisto will meet with Alex Zaluckyj on August 27, at 7:00 PM, to further <br /> discuss the Oneka Lake water problems. <br /> Mayor McAllister requested the city attorney to draft an ordinance regulating the <br /> hours and use of the city park, for submission at the next Council meeting (9/4/84) . <br /> MO'T'ION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to grant an ON SALE NON-INTOXICATING <br /> LIQUOR LICENSE to St. John the Baptist Church for the bazaar on 8/26/84. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> CLERK <br /> The city received a request from a resident to reserve the city ballfield on 9/9/84. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City Council has no <br /> objection to use of the city park, but cannot make any guarantees as to its <br /> availability for any individual. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
