Mayor McAllister stated that <br /> the city would look favorably on a floral operation with glass building, and sug- <br /> gested that the concerned parties return to the Planning Commission with a rough <br /> sketch of the plans for the property. This would be mandatory because of a statment <br /> made by realtor Paul Tubbs that the business would employ "hundreds". <br /> 5.9 Refuse Licenses <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to grant Refuse Licenses to the following: <br /> LAKE SANITATION, WOODLAKE SANITARY SERVICE, INC., DOALL SERVICE, MAMMY'S <br /> SERVICE SERVICE, INC. , MCS REFUSE, INC., AND BELLAIRE SANITATION. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> Albert LaMotte - Land Division <br /> Mr. LaMotte would like to divide approximately 40 acres into 2 parcels (10A and 31.65A) . <br /> Proof of ownership and a certificate of survey were submitted. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Atkinson seconded, to approve the Land Division for <br /> Albert LaMotte as indicated on the submitted Certificate of Survey, subject <br /> to a satisfactory perc test and payment of $100.00 for parkland dedication. <br /> All aye. There is to be no removable of dirt <br /> without city approval. <br /> 6.4 Fire Chief <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, authorizing the Fire Chief to <br /> purchase a foam inductor for $370.00 and 10 gallons of foam for $170.00. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 6.5 CLERK <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, authorizing the Minnesota Hearing <br /> Aid Center to use City Hall on September 17, 1984, between 9:00 AM and 1:30 PM <br /> to conduct hearing tests. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, authorizing bookkeeper LuAnn Prachar <br /> to attend a finance conference in Alexandria, October 10 - 12, and a draft <br /> be executed in the amount of $181.00. <br /> All aye.
