108 September 17, 1984 <br /> 5.9 Vern Peloquin - Minor Subdivision <br /> Mr. Peloquin is proposing the division of land in the Peloquin Industrial Park <br /> to accommodate the business of Steven Gaffney, Minnesota Adhesives. A Certifi- <br /> cate of Survey was submitted. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Minor Subdi- <br /> vision of Vern Peloquin, for the sale of property in the Peloquin In- <br /> dustrial Park. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.2 Lloyd Chalupsky - Special Use Permit <br /> Mr. Chalupsky is proposing the filling of Lot 4, Royalhaven Estates, using dirt <br /> fram Lot 9. A recommendation was submitted by Engineer Howard Kuusisto regarding <br /> city requirements prior to any work being performed. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Special Use <br /> Permit for Lloyd Chalupsky, to fill Lot. 4, Royalhaven Estates, using fill <br /> from Lot 9 (property across Homestead Drive) , subject to the following: <br /> 1. All conditions be met as listed in City Engineer's letter dated <br /> September 7, 1984, except Items 3 and 4. <br /> 2. A Letter of Credit, in the amount of $5,000.00, shall be provided to <br /> insure the efficiency of the erosion control system as well as the <br /> maintenance of elevations and topographical alterations, as created. <br /> Letter of Credit to also guarantee that Mr. Lloyd Chalupsky will <br /> provide the city with a 20' recordable drainage easement, as re- <br /> quired by the City Engineer. Said Letter of Credit to remain in <br /> effect until December 31, 1986. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.4 Frank Puleo - Special Use Permit <br /> Mr. Puleo is purchasing the Vandelac property, Forest Boulevard, and would like <br /> to construct a 32 x 56 pole barn for storage of equipment. There are 10 acres, <br /> and the land is zoned SFE. A permit has been obtained for the placement of a <br /> manufactured home on the land. The Planning Commission recommeded denial because <br /> of the size of the building in the SFE zone (640 sq ft allowed) . There was dis- <br /> cussion about the possibility of rezoning the property from SFE to AG, as the lot <br /> is 10 acres. Let the record show that Mr. Frank Puleo had volunteered to apply <br /> for the rezoning request. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to schedule a public hearing <br /> for the Hugo Planning Commission to consider the rezoning request of <br /> Frank Puleo for October 10, 1984, at 7:05 PM, to rezone 10 acres from <br /> SFE to AG. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.6 John Johnson <br /> Mr. Johnson, prospective purchase of the Harley Johnson property on 145th Street, <br /> was present to discuss his plans for the property. His plans for a wholesale <br /> florist business is presently not allowed the CB district. Mr. Johnson stated <br /> that he would rather have an ordinance change than have a SUP issued. Mayor <br />
