September 17, 1984 109 <br /> McAllister stated that he felt comfortable about the ordinance change now that the <br /> city requires Site Plan Approval in the RB, CB, and Industrial districts. His <br /> only concern was the effect on the residential neighborhood from the emissions of <br /> coal heating. It was the concensus of the Council that they would not object to <br /> the floral operation. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the clerk be directed to <br /> schedule a public hearing for the City Council meeting of October 15, 1984, <br /> at 7:05 PM, to consider the ordinance change to allow for wholesale florist <br /> operation in the CB zone (permitted principal use) . <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> Cary Weisner - Minor Subdivision <br /> Mr. Weisner is proposing the division of 0.821 acres from a 22 acre tract of land lying <br /> west of Highway 61, south of 140th. He is proposing the construction of a 40 x 80 <br /> building to be used for a specialty bodyshop, and will be hooked up to city sewer. <br /> A site plan will be required at a future date. A Certificate of Survey was submitted. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Minor Subdivision <br /> for fee owner, Roy Molitor, to divide 0.821 acres from a 22 acre parcel <br /> in the Industrial zone. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Site Plan for <br /> Cary Weisner, for the construction of a 40 x 80 building for bodyshop <br /> business, and subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. The proposed building to meet all state building codes and uniform <br /> fire codes. <br /> 2. The proposed building to be connected to the sanitary sewer system. <br /> 3. All SAC and REC charges to be paid. <br /> 4. Mr. Weisner to install posts from the northeast property line for a <br /> distance of 110' to prevent traffic access and egress to 140th Street. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> STEVE GAFFNEY - Site Plan Approval <br /> Mr. Gaffney is proposing the construction of a 2724 sq ft plant and office building <br /> in the newly created lot in the Peloquin Industrial Park. The building will house <br /> Minnesota Adhesives, Inc., which was previously issued a SUP. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Site Plan for <br /> Steve Gaffney, Minnesota Adhesives, INc., for the construction of a 2724 <br /> sq ft building to be constructed in the Peloquin Industrial Park according <br /> to the site plan submitted. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> HOWARD SPIZMAN <br /> Mr. Spizman, 12301 Ethan, would like to run electricity under Ethan Avenue to his <br /> property on Bald Eagle Lake. <br />
