September 17, 1984 109 McAllister stated that he felt comfortable about the ordinance change now that the city requires Site Plan Approval in the RB, CB, and Industrial districts. His only concern was the effect on the residential neighborhood from the emissions of coal heating. It was the concensus of the Council that they would not object to the floral operation. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the clerk be directed to schedule a public hearing for the City Council meeting of October 15, 1984, at 7:05 PM, to consider the ordinance change to allow for wholesale florist operation in the CB zone (permitted principal use) . All aye. Motion Carried. Cary Weisner - Minor Subdivision Mr. Weisner is proposing the division of 0.821 acres from a 22 acre tract of land lying west of Highway 61, south of 140th. He is proposing the construction of a 40 x 80 building to be used for a specialty bodyshop, and will be hooked up to city sewer. A site plan will be required at a future date. A Certificate of Survey was submitted. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Minor Subdivision for fee owner, Roy Molitor, to divide 0.821 acres from a 22 acre parcel in the Industrial zone. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Site Plan for Cary Weisner, for the construction of a 40 x 80 building for bodyshop business, and subject to the following conditions: 1. The proposed building to meet all state building codes and uniform fire codes. 2. The proposed building to be connected to the sanitary sewer system. 3. All SAC and REC charges to be paid. 4. Mr. Weisner to install posts from the northeast property line for a distance of 110' to prevent traffic access and egress to 140th Street. All aye. Motion Carried. STEVE GAFFNEY - Site Plan Approval Mr. Gaffney is proposing the construction of a 2724 sq ft plant and office building in the newly created lot in the Peloquin Industrial Park. The building will house Minnesota Adhesives, Inc., which was previously issued a SUP. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Site Plan for Steve Gaffney, Minnesota Adhesives, INc., for the construction of a 2724 sq ft building to be constructed in the Peloquin Industrial Park according to the site plan submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. HOWARD SPIZMAN Mr. Spizman, 12301 Ethan, would like to run electricity under Ethan Avenue to his property on Bald Eagle Lake.
