123 <br /> November 5, 1984 <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & comiI'rrt S <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee - No discussion <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission - No discussion <br /> 6.3 Building Inspector - No discussion <br /> 6.4 Fire Chief - No discussion <br /> 6.5 Clerk <br /> The clerk's office received a call from Charlotte Kober, Minnesota Correctional In- <br /> dustries, regarding microfilming of city documents. It was the concensus of the <br /> Council that they are interested, and that Ms. Kober be invited to inspect the records <br /> and provide a cost estimate. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to set a Special Meeting of the <br /> City Council for the Board of Canvas, November 7, 1984, at 7:30 PM. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> The letters of credit for Wil Harris and Jeff Barbour are to be extended prior to <br /> expiration, as the conditions of their permits have not been met. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, the addition to the General <br /> Claims $25.00 payable to the City of White Bear Lake, to be charged to the <br /> sanitary sewer budget, for the purchase of used valves. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve Job Orders 47154 and 47163 <br /> for Northwestern Bell. <br /> All aye. Notion Carried. <br /> LETTER OF COMPLAINT <br /> The city received a letter from Larry Funk complaining about a neighbor raising <br /> chickee,5 at 14927 Forest Boulevard, located in the SFU district. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the City Clerk send the occu- <br /> pant of the property at 14927 Forest Boulevard, a notice that the keeping <br /> of chickens in the SFU district is not a legal use, and request they appear <br /> at the Council meeting of 11/19/84 at 8:15 PM. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 8.0 UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> 8.1 Ramsey County/Hugo Agreement - 120th Street east of Highway 61 <br /> Ramsey County is requesting that Hugo share in the maintenance of 120th Street east <br /> of Highway 61. There was a discussion as to exactly how this street happens to <br /> belong to the city, and no one was able to explain. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Atkinson seconded, that the City Clerk send the Ramsey <br /> County Engineer a letter stating that the City of Hugo will plow snow on <br /> both the north and south lanes of 120th Street west of Highway 61, and that <br /> it is our understanding that they will maintain the north and south lanes of <br /> 120th Street, Ramsey County 81 , east of Highway 61. The City of Hugo will <br /> pay them $585.00 in 1985 for such maintenance. This agreement will remain <br /> in effect for one year. <br /> FOR: Atkinson, Schwab, Hauer, McAllister AGAINST: Peltier MOTION CARRIED., <br />
