Motion Carried. <br /> 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br /> MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br /> December 3, 1984, as submitted. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for <br /> December 3, 1984, as submitted. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br /> 5.1 Opening of bids - Lake Air Estates (Project 8407) <br /> The city received 13 responses to the advertisement for bid, and the lowest bidder <br /> was Orfei & Sons at $245,514.42. The engineer took all bids under advisement, with <br /> the awarding of the bid to take place at the Council meeting of 12/17/84. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to place the avarding of the bid <br /> for Lake Air Estates, Project 8407, on the agenda for the Council meeting <br /> of 12/17/84. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> Richard Granger, developer, was informed that he should let the city know, prior to <br /> the acceptance of the bid, whether he wants to asphalt and pay the difference in the <br /> cost. <br /> 5.2 Shirley Nelson Hill Special Use Permit <br /> Mrs. Hill is seeking a SUP to operate a bar and restaurant on her property located <br /> at 12010 Keystone Avenue, with plans to obtain an on-sale liquor license. The <br /> Planning Commission reviewed the re-application and recommended approval. Mrs. Hill <br /> stated that the parking lot is now blacktopped. She stated the light post and <br /> advertising sign act as a natural barrier for traffic control. Mrs. Hill, sole <br /> partner in Oneka Hills Farms, Inc., stated that the corporation will be applying <br />
