134 <br /> December 3, 1984 <br /> 5.5 Charles Shubat - Special Use Permit <br /> Mr. Shubar has been making application since 1981 to sell Christmas trees from his <br /> property along Homestead Drive, north of 8A. It was the opinion of the Council that <br /> the initial permit should qualify him to sell trees there as long as he is able. <br /> SUP's go with the property and should not have to be renewed annually. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Hauer seconded, to refund Mr. Charles Shubat all <br /> SUP fees subsequent to the inital application and notify him that it will <br /> not be necessary to apply every year. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.6 Liquor Licenses <br /> MOTION: Atkinson made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the liquor and miscella- <br /> neous licenses for 1985, as submitted by the City Clerk. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee - No discussion <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission - No discussion <br /> 6.3 Building Inspector <br /> Mr. Crever was present, and stated that he had no problems. Mayor McAllister stated <br /> that the city had not heard from Mr. Curt Leibel regarding the illegal garage raved <br /> to his property (no Building Permit) . <br /> MOTION: Schwab made motion, Atkinson seconded, that the Building Inspector notify <br /> Mr. Curt Leibel that he has 30 days in which to repave the building from <br /> his property. If he fails to do so, the Building Inspector is instructed <br /> to contact Sara Currie Mardell, prosecuting attorney, to file a formal <br /> complaint. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 6.4 Fire Chief - No discussion <br /> 6.5 Clerk <br /> The clerk received a letter from WLKX requesting they be placed on the city's mailing <br /> list for Council agendas. The Clerk is to send them a letter stating they are wel- <br /> come to call City Hall to find out who is on the agenda. We cannot place them on <br /> the mailing list. <br /> 7.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> MOTION: Hauer made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Clerk draft ordinances abo- <br /> lishing Gambling, Bingo, and Refuse ordinances. <br /> All aye.
