April 4, 1983 30 <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, to renew the temporary Mobile Home <br /> Permit for Safeway House Movers, .5885 165th Street North, under Chapter 40, <br /> Article III, Subdivision E, for a period of ninety days. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 6.5 Fire Chief <br /> Ron Istvanovich stated that the Hugo Fire Department has the opportunity to purchase <br /> 1966 Chevrolet pickup truck for $100 from the Stillwater FD. Insurance would cost <br /> approximately $250/year. The truck would be used as a crew carrier and for transpor- <br /> tation to mutual aid meetings. It was the general concensus of the Council that the <br /> city would not be interested in such a purchase. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made notion, Peltier seconded, that the Fire Chief be directed <br /> to convert the International tanker to a Newton type dump valve and install <br /> one of the butterfly valves from truck #5 to truck #7. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made notion that the Fire Chief be directed to contract Capitol <br /> Electronics and see if they can come up with another radio that will meet <br /> our mutual aid contract provisions. <br /> McAllister withdrew his motion. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, that the Fire Chief be directed to <br /> have #6 truck radio brought up to mutual aid contract standards. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> Water Superintendent <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Water Superintendent be directed <br /> to purchase a pressure valve for an approximate cost of $600.00. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> RICHARD AMvIANN - SITE PLAN APPROVAL <br /> Mr. Ammann, 17903 Henna AVenue, would like to construct a 36 x 45 barn for his cattle. <br /> The site plan meets with the requirements. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Site Plan for Richard <br /> Anmann, 17903 Henna Avenue, for the construction of a 36 x 45 pole barn for <br /> his personal use only. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 6.6 Clerk <br /> The city will not participate in the Summer Youth Program this year for lack of su- <br /> pervisory personnel. <br /> The clerk will determine the penalty fee for withdrawing from our service contract for <br /> the copy machine and report at a later date. <br />
