April 4, 1983 30 MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, to renew the temporary Mobile Home Permit for Safeway House Movers, .5885 165th Street North, under Chapter 40, Article III, Subdivision E, for a period of ninety days. All aye. Motion Carried. 6.5 Fire Chief Ron Istvanovich stated that the Hugo Fire Department has the opportunity to purchase 1966 Chevrolet pickup truck for $100 from the Stillwater FD. Insurance would cost approximately $250/year. The truck would be used as a crew carrier and for transpor- tation to mutual aid meetings. It was the general concensus of the Council that the city would not be interested in such a purchase. MOTION: McAllister made notion, Peltier seconded, that the Fire Chief be directed to convert the International tanker to a Newton type dump valve and install one of the butterfly valves from truck #5 to truck #7. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: McAllister made notion that the Fire Chief be directed to contract Capitol Electronics and see if they can come up with another radio that will meet our mutual aid contract provisions. McAllister withdrew his motion. MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, that the Fire Chief be directed to have #6 truck radio brought up to mutual aid contract standards. All aye. Motion Carried. Water Superintendent MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Water Superintendent be directed to purchase a pressure valve for an approximate cost of $600.00. All aye. Motion Carried. RICHARD AMvIANN - SITE PLAN APPROVAL Mr. Ammann, 17903 Henna AVenue, would like to construct a 36 x 45 barn for his cattle. The site plan meets with the requirements. MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Site Plan for Richard Anmann, 17903 Henna Avenue, for the construction of a 36 x 45 pole barn for his personal use only. All aye. Motion Carried. 6.6 Clerk The city will not participate in the Summer Youth Program this year for lack of su- pervisory personnel. The clerk will determine the penalty fee for withdrawing from our service contract for the copy machine and report at a later date.
