Would the city <br /> allow Charpentier's to develop their property further? McAllister stated that the <br /> agreement was entered into because of the sale of property to the Charpentier's <br /> by Fred Fulbright. Mr. Fulbright was informed that no more development could occur <br /> without benefit of city sewer. It was the concensus of the City Council that <br /> before any more homes are allowed on this property that it will be served by Sani- <br /> tary sewer. Sanitary sewer improvement could be considered upon petition of 35% <br /> of the property owners or 4/5's of the Council to vote in the affirmative to initiate <br /> an improvement project. It was the concensus of the Council that they would not <br /> authorize/initiate a sanitary sewer improvement project for that property. Mayor <br /> McAllister also stated that if the city was requested to proceed with the recommenda- <br /> tions of the Planning Commission, that Mr. Stewart will have to make a cash deposit <br /> to the city to pay for any legal or engineering cost that would be incurred. <br /> 5.2 Norman Horton - Auto Dismantling Licenses (2) <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to renew the two (2) Auto Dismantling <br /> Licenses for Norman Horton to expire June 30, 1984. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> The clerk was directed to send a letter to Norman Horton regarding the parking pro- <br /> blem along Highway 61. If the problem continues, the city may require a bond for <br /> uninsured or underinsured motorists involved in an accident in front of his property. <br /> KEN PELTIER - LAND DIVISION <br /> Ken and Peltier were present to obtain authorization for the sale of 10 <br /> acres in the AG district. The parcel would also require a variance to the 300' <br /> front footage requirement. Proof of ownership would be required prior to final <br /> approval of the subdivision. <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the Land Division for <br /> Martha Peltier, 15367 Everton Avenue North, for the sale of 10 acres of <br /> land and a variance from 300' to 194' front footage. Approval contingent <br /> on submission of adequate proof of ownership. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.3 Richard Schuh - Mining Permits (2) <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the Mining Permits for <br /> Richard Schuh for the Goiffon and Duraine pits, subject to the same con- <br /> ditions. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> The clerk was instructed to send a letter to Barton Contracting requesting that they <br /> restore the Goiffon used with their Mining Permit. <br /> 5.4 Fischer Construction - Mining Permit <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the Mining Permit for Eugene <br /> Fischer subject to the same conditions. <br /> All aye.
