67 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL August 1, 1983 The meeting was called to order by Mayor McAllister at 7:04 PM. PRESENT: McAllister, Schwab, Vail ABSENT: Peltier, Atkinson 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION: Schwab made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes of July 18, 1983, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS MOTION: Vail made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the General Claims for August 1 , 1983, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. MOTION: Vail made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for August 1 , 1983, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES 5.1 Barry Stack - Rezoning Rescheduled for meeting of August 15th. 5.2 Fred Macalus - Land Division Mr. Macalus, 5696 170th Street, owner of 103 acres in the AG zone, would like to divide 2-10 acre parcels along 180th Street. The field work on the parcels has been completed, but no Certificate of Survey was submitted. (PELTIER ARRIVED AT 7:09 PM) Mr. Macalus submitted his abstract as proof of ownership, the last entry being the purchase of the property by Mr. Macalus. MOTION: Vail made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the Land Division for Fred Macalus to divide 2 - 10 acre parcels from a 103 tract. Division approval subject to submission of an additional $25.00 for the additional parcel to be created and a Certificate of Survey. All aye. Motion Carried. 5.4 Jeff Barbour - Rezoning Mr. Barbour would like to rezone a 3.26 acre parcel lying east of County Road 8A from AG to RRI for the purpose of a building site. The Planning Commission recommended approval because the property is divided from the large parcel by 8A and the hamesites to the north all have equivalent lot sizes.
