86 <br /> MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br /> October 3, 1983 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor McAllister at 7:03 PM. <br /> PRESENT: Peltier, Atkinson, Schwab, Vail, McAllister <br /> 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes of September 19, <br /> 1983, after the following correction has been made: <br /> Page 78 - that the City of Hugo formally request the Rice Creek Watershed <br /> District to reinspect <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the minutes of September 21 , <br /> 1983, after the following correction has been made: <br /> Page 82 (2nd paragraph) - The Council was presented with a signed document.. .. <br /> Delete the name of Mr. Markeson. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br /> October 3, 1983, as submitted. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> MOTION: Vail made motion, Atkinson seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for <br /> October 3, 1983, as submitted. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br /> 5.1 Jim Hubinger <br /> Mr. Hubinger, agent for the Beulke Agency, was present to discuss his recommendation <br /> that the City of Hugo purchase Public Officials and Employees Liability Insurance. <br /> The package would be for three (3) years, and the annual premium $800.00. The policy <br /> would cover the City of Hugo, Council, appointed people, and any employee acting for <br /> the City. Mr. Hubinger stated that the attorney and engineer would be covered by <br /> their own professional liability insurance. <br /> MOTION: Schwab made motion, Vail seconded, that the City of Hugo purchase Public <br /> Officials and Employees Liability Insurance to become effective 10/1/83. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.2 Tom Oswald - Forest Lake Youth Service Bureau <br /> Mr. Oswald, director of the Bureau, was present, requesting the city's financial <br /> participation in the amount of $2,000.00. The service is provided to residents <br />
