89 October 3, 1983 <br /> 6.3 Building Inspector - No discussion <br /> 6.4 Fire Chief - No discussion <br /> 6.5 Clerk - No discussion <br /> 7.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTION - No discussion <br /> 8.0 Unfinished Business <br /> Mr. Syl Nistler, resident on Flay Avenue, was present to ask about the proposed <br /> street light that was to be installed on Flay. Mayor McAllister was unaware that <br /> Mr. Nistler did not know of the plans, but assured him that no installation would <br /> commence until all residents were aware of the final plans. <br /> 9.0 NEW BUSINESS <br /> 9.1 White Bear Rod & Gun Club <br /> Mayor McAllister received a call during tonight's meeting requesting that no dis- <br /> cussion take place regarding the gun club unless a representative was there. <br /> Mayor McAllister stated that he would honor their request. There was some dis- <br /> cussion about some construction that has taken place on the property. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, that the Building Inspector <br /> be directed to inspect the alleged construction and report to the City <br /> Council whether a violation of the Building Code has occurred. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 10.0 MISCELLANEOUS <br /> Mr. Ronald Granger has made application for an On-Sale Liquor License for the <br /> business known as Paul's Pizza. The application has been forwarded to Sheriff <br /> Trudeau for his comments, and the Council decided on holding a hearing on this <br /> matter, to be published in the Forest Lake Times. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Peltier seconded, to schedule a hearing for <br /> October 17, 1983, at 8:00 PM, for the consideration of Ronald Granger's <br /> application for an On-Sale Liquor License. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> It was Councilman Vail's opinion that the City should wait until next spring to <br /> determine if the elms on the northeast corner of the city park are diseased. Mr. <br /> Hicks is to be notified of his decision. <br /> MOTION: Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to adjourn at 9:50 PM. <br /> All aye.
