October 3, 1983 88 <br /> Ricci - SUP (cont.) <br /> 2. A Letter of Credit, satisfactory to the City, in the amount of $25,000.00, <br /> shall be submitted to insure blacktopping, exterior painting, build to <br /> meet State electrical and building codes, fencing, sod and shrubbery. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> Mr. Ricci was informed that as conditions of the Letter of Credit are completed, the <br /> City will consider releasing/reduction in the $25,000.00. <br /> 5.5 Kevin Mann - Special Use Permit <br /> Mr. Mann is purchasing one acre of land from Robert Dotte, lying west of Highway 61 <br /> on 165th Street, with hopes of purchasing the remaining 19 acres. He would like to <br /> construct a 30 x 48 pole building prior to the residence. t hT building would be <br /> located 10' from the interior property line rathernind required 20' . Mr. <br /> Mann has been unable to make contact with the property owner to-the east to obtain <br /> his written consent. Mann stated that his plans are for the construction of a home <br /> in 1984. <br /> NOTION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the Special Use Permit <br /> for Kevin Mann to construct a 30 x 48 pole barn prior to construction of <br /> the principal building, for his personal storage. Approval subject to <br /> the following: <br /> 1. Proof of ownership submitted in a manner acceptable to the city. <br /> 2. Submission of a letter from the property owner immediately to the <br /> east stating no ojbection to the 10' sideyard setback. <br /> 3. Submission of a satisfactory Letter of Credit, cash deposit, or per- <br /> formance bond, in the amount of $1,000.00, guaranteeing a building <br /> permit will be issued for the principal building, and construction <br /> will commence no later than August 1, 1984. Building will be removed <br /> from the property if no house construction has begun and no extension <br /> requested. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 5.6 Eugene Schultz - Renew of Mobile Home Permit <br /> NOTION: Vail made motion, Peltier seconded, to renew the Mobile Home Permit for <br /> Eugene Schultz, 8340 140th Street, granted under Chapter 40, Article III, <br /> Subdivision B, for a period of 90 days, and subject to payment of the <br /> $10.00 fee. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee - No discussion <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission - Vacancy <br /> NOTION: Peltier made motion, Atkinson seconded, to appoint Mr. Raymond Olson to fill <br /> the unexpired term of Darrell Jacobson on the Planning Commission (12/31/85) . <br /> VOTING FOR: Peltier, Atkinson, Schwab, McAllister <br /> VOTING AGAINST: Vail <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
